Kingston Business Academy

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kingston Business Academy mobile app (the "App") and related services, provided by Kingston Business Academy ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App is intended for learners old enough to enroll in Kingston Business Academy's programs and is not directed at children under 13. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when signing up, and for keeping your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
When using the App, you agree not to:
Quiz content, scoring, and certificate eligibility are determined by Kingston Business Academy and may be updated from time to time. A certificate is issued to reflect the grade and score achieved at the time a course is completed, and is tied to the learner it was issued to.
Certificates are designed to be publicly verifiable — anyone with a certificate ID can look up its holder name, course, grade, and issue date using the App's "Verify a Certificate" feature. Don't share or use a certificate in a way that misrepresents who earned it.
If you keep "Appear on Leaderboard" enabled in Privacy & Security settings, your name, academy, and average score are shown to other learners in the App's public ranking. You can turn this off at any time, which removes you from the leaderboard going forward.
By using the App, you consent to receive push notifications related to your account and activity (e.g. quiz results, reminders) as well as occasional announcements from Kingston Business Academy. You can manage notification permissions from your device settings at any time.
The App relies on third-party service providers to operate, including Supabase (database and authentication) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications). Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App: Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. We may also suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including account status changes such as marking an account Inactive pending review.
As described in our Privacy Policy, certificate records remain publicly verifiable even after an account is deleted, but are no longer linked to your account or other personal information.
The App, including its quiz content, course materials, branding, and design, is owned by Kingston Business Academy or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our branding or content outside of normal use of the App.
The App is provided "as is." While we work to keep quiz content, scores, and certificates accurate, we don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kingston Business Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or interrupted access.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
